Blue Ox Wine Co. began in the summer of 2017 when Josh Hammerling and Noah Kenoyer met while working at Broc Cellars. A passion for sparkling wines made from organically and dry-farmed vineyards led them to explore sites along the Mendocino coast as well as Monterey County. The old vineyards they work with impart a mineral tension and intensity to their wines, but the primary goal is to produce fresh, elegant wines for the table.
